Can I keep my contact information private?
ICANN guidelines indicate that the information in the domain name record is the current legal information regarding ownership, admin, billing, and technical contacts. Having false or misleading information on the domain name record is a violation of these guidelines and is strongly not advised. However, if you prefer to keep your information private, we will accommodate your request to the extent that we will still be able to contact you. The Owner information will indicate the legal owner of the domain name and we will respect the wishes of the domain owner provided that we can verify the information. Having anonymous information in this field may result in false domain ownership representation. Additionally, if there is no valid email address listed, this may result in VP not being able to contact you for domain renewals or change verification.
